A case has been brought to the
notice of this Company by a group of Members of
the Company situated in Hong Kong.
It is referred to as "Yacht Tavy
II" versus S.3. "Sui Tai" (Macao Ferry) Hong Kong
29th July, 1931.
I am writing you this personal note
to ask if you can have it re-examined, for as it is
presented to the Company it appears to be just a
case of bullying, to which, unfortunately, Officers
of the Merchant Navy are sometimes subjected.
The whole suggestion that
Commander Pritchard should be liable to a term of
hard labour under these circumstances seems to be
